Overall Goal
The overall goal of this educational activity is to reach US Rheumatologists with a review of the data and key findings in the field of Rheumatology.
Target Audience
The target audience for this activity is Rheumatologists, Rheumatology Fellows, and other healthcare professionals with an interest in Rheumatology.
Learning Objectives
- Recognize the importance of early diagnosis and the role of aggressive treatment in rheumatic diseases in order to slow disease progression and improve overall patient outcomes
- Cite the data around novel therapies for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and identify patients in your practice who may benefit from these treatments
- Review the various assessment tools that are available for RA and discuss how these tools can improve patient outcomes
- Identify fibromyalgia patients in your practice who may not be achieving adequate response with their current therapy and implement new management and treatment strategies in order to attain optimal therapeutic response
- Discuss the role of B-Cells in Rheumatoid Arthritis in order to implement treatment strategies that may improve healthcare outcomes
